They were like vultures that would not go away. they told me I was buying something other than what I purchased. My family was waiting for me back at the hotel & we were going to be late for my sons game. Only when I made serveral compliant n phone calls did we receive what I had booked n paid extra for which was a 2bd rm and that was at the end of our Las Vegas stay The next day I went back and told them I no longer wanted the time share. It would only be about 20 minutes; it was a three hour high pressure sales telling me my Shell Vacation was worthless and soon I would not be able to book anything unless I bought more points. We were in Austin, TX for my sons hockey game & they were set up there. The manager, who was dripping of gold necklaces and bracelets, yelled at us and stormed away. Only one elevator was working most of the time and there are 25 floors there! Are there any active lawsuits at this time? The unavailability of resorts is frustrating to say the least. These people who sell these timeshares are crooked, lying, thieving, deceptive salespeople who will outright tell a falsehood, not caring how it affects the customer, just to make a sale. I have said NO more times in 20 years and they insist on owners attending these high pressure sales pitches EACH time they book. Additional details: Our first contract was purchased at Panama City Beach resort we were then talked into buying more at the New Orleans location because the points we had werent realistic In order to enjoy vacations so we purchased and they didnt combine the two then at this meeting we were pushed and pushed to buy into ANOTHER contract- a third.
