We are confident our antique Colt Cobra will serve our children and perhaps our grandchildren and great grandchildren as well. Original Cobras were produced from 1950 to 1981. And beautiful. After steel, I will never go back to aluminum, as I like the weight. And this was refinished and repaired in 2007 so its been 10 years but I had sent another Colt back just recently and had the same bluing done they call it royal blue finish and it looks just as good as my 6 inch python thats never even been shot. The grouping opened up only slightly in double-action. And the price is WAY Too much for me to consider. Was that just my experience? I was a big Colt snake gun revolver man in the early nineties. Sweet little pistol, for sure! To make the guns royal blue and perfect is not a hard thing to do its simply tumbling the parts until you get the finished you need to apply the bluing.
